Divorce Law in Roseville, CA: Filing a Divorce Petition
Before filing your divorce petition, it is advisable that you consult a divorce attorney, which will check to see if you meet the residency requirements for filing a divorce petition in California. The State of California requires a minimum of 6 months residency before one could file for divorce. After filing your petition, the lawyer will arrange to serve the papers on your spouse. Court Ordered Divorce Mediation
