Challenging Paternity

While the results of DNA testing are generally considered accurate, there is a possi1bility that the results may be incorrect. Here are some legal grounds for challenging the results:

• Fraudulent lab result : For example, the other side sent someone else to provide the DNA sample.

• Tainted lab result : For example, the lab that conducted the test has a history of erroneous and faulty reports.

• Evidence of tampering of the results

• Evidence of sterility/infertility
