James Ryan Codgill is an Associate Attorney with The Law Office of Thomas P. Hogan. A lifelong member of the greater Modesto community, Ryan is committed to providing thoughtful legal guidance, practical solutions, and dedicated advocacy for his clients.
Ryan graduated from the inaugural class at the University of California, Merced, where he graduated third in his class and was recognized as a Founding Student of Excellence. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, where he received a Certificate in Public Law and Policy, was named to the Dean's Honor List all three years, and was inducted into the prestigious Traynor Honor Society.
During law school, Ryan interned for the Honorable Ronald Robie of the California Court of Appeal and later served as a legislative aide in theCalifornia State Senate. Since his admission to the California Bar, Ryan has practiced law in both Sacramento and Modesto, representing clients in civil and family law matters.
Ryan takes pride in building strong client relationships through professionalism, integrity, and personalized attention. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his family and remains actively involved in the Central Valley community.
